Access to safety-related repair and maintenance information
A GeKo user licence is required in order to use online services in connection with the diagnostic software provided by Volkswagen, which enables you to program immobiliser components (e.g instrument cluster, engine control unit), keys and component protection (e.g. air conditioning unit, navigation system etc.) to the vehicle.

For use of the ODIS (Offboard Diagnostic Information System) service diagnostics software and for FAZIT/GeKo user rights (security and component protection), every employee of your business, who is a user, needs what is referred to as a Global User ID/Group User ID. For this purpose, your importer must create and administer the individual employees on the Audi AG Group Retail Portal (GRP) for the working context of your business. The Group Retail Portal (GRP) can be accessed on the internet at https://grp.volkswagenag.com/.
